Welcome to A-OK. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the A-OK mobile application and related services (collectively, the “Service”).
By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
A-OK is a free (ad-supported) mobile application that provides real-time and near-real-time information about weather, air quality, UV index, and other environmental conditions, together with rule-based and AI-generated recommendations regarding suitability for outdoor exercise activities (running, cycling, walking, hiking, swimming, skiing, etc.).
The Service is provided for informational and educational purposes only. It is not a substitute for professional medical, safety, or meteorological advice.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. By using the Service you represent that you meet this requirement.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Recommendations provided by A-OK (including AI-generated content) are general in nature. They do not take into account your personal medical history, fitness level, injuries, or other individual circumstances. Always consult a physician before starting or changing an exercise program. Never ignore medical advice because of something you read or see in the App.
Weather, air quality, UV, and other data come from third-party providers and public sources. While we strive for accuracy and timeliness, we cannot guarantee that the data is complete, accurate, or up-to-date at all times. Conditions can change rapidly. Use common sense and local official sources when making decisions that affect your safety.
AI-generated recommendations (powered by models such as Gemini) are probabilistic and may occasionally be imperfect, incomplete, or inappropriate for your specific situation. You remain solely responsible for any decisions you make based on the App’s output.
The Service, including its design, logos, text, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written permission.
The “A-OK” name and mountain logo are trademarks of the App operators.
The free version of the App displays advertisements via Google AdMob. Your interactions with ads are governed by the advertisers’ and Google’s policies. We are not responsible for the content of third-party advertisements or websites.
Weather and environmental data are provided by third-party APIs (e.g. Open-Meteo, OpenWeatherMap and others). Their terms and privacy policies also apply to the data they supply.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR COMPLETELY SECURE.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL WE OR OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $50, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Seoul, Republic of Korea, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, providing notice in the App. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
